Wow I wasn't expecting to have fun today. But I had a total blast I woke up this morning and Colleen had called me saying that I could come shopping with her, her mom, grandma, and two aunts if I could be ready REALLY soon so I got ready in like ten min (after I just got out of bed ha!) and we piled into the van and hit the outlets. At the risk of sounding shallow...I had such a good time. We went to alllll these places, made fun of ugly clothes and the like:) Then we went to Gap and looked around, I spied THE COOLEST pants ever to walk the earth (no pun intended) they were black, with sequines on the side...Banana Republic, need I say more? Unfortunetly I didn't have any money with me for that so I was like "noooooo" but Aunt Renee was like "I'll help you get those..." Because everyone was like "That is SO CHELS!" haha and we're at the check out and she buys them for me! I was so touched because even though I see her sometimes she doesn't know me THAT well so that was super-sweet of her:)

Then, later we went into Claire's and I got this awesome bed canopy, (I've been saving up for stuff for my room) it's gorgeous, I love it:) And then Colleen bought me this awesome pair of earrings for my Christmas present;) Thanks, girl:)

So we ate at Ruby Tuesday's it was my first time and I <3 that place! And later we all went to Starbucks! Gah that place is so amazing...*sigh* I had such a good time, we had such a cool group of people it was really fun, except for the fact I didn't bring a coat with me yeah that was stupid but luckily thanks to an extra fleece I was ok. The last store, Aerosoles was awesome because I walked in and was like "Hey...that's CLAY on the radio!" Well it was but it was his Christmas album...the one I hadn't heard yet, so we got to listen to the whole Clay cd cause we took a while in that store:) I was like "Colleen I want to sing along...stop me!"

Needless to say after shopping for nine hours I am exhausted. Really tired. But very happy I had a good Thanksgiving, it was really boring though cause it was just my fam and my grandma...no cousins but it was still fine. I watched Spider-Man. I love that movie. Yup that's right I said that, Tobey McGuire is a wonderful actor, not like those stupid guys who are so good looking that they get parts they don't deserve-ha! Anyway I really liked it, Jayla called towards the end but that was good cause I love talkin to her and had already seen the movie...

Today my dad got a home theatre system With surround sound and everything so I cannot wait to watch Mr. Deeds tonight...We've been needing a new CD player SO badly! It's this vcr/dvd/cd player with big speakers and then small ones for the rest of the room...wow. Thanks dad

As I sit here my eyes are shutting on me...*yawns* I'm gonna hit the sack early tonight lol but watch I'll go to sleep at like midnight *rolls eyes*

Random opening:

I now have a Japanese lantern. It’s pink. It is the coolest thing since sliced bread. I love the way it glows.

Wow…it’s Thanksgiving tomorrow! Today I baked with Ash and my mom…I made crescent rolls while jamming to Jump5’s Christmas album and was proud for my perfection on those rolls…but I blew it when I dumped the flour into the cherry pie filling…yeah if you can imagine a cake-pie…that’s what its gonna be. Tomorrow we’re not going to have ANY guests…whoa scary. I’m really gonna miss shopping on black Friday with Victor, David, and Barbie L And nobody great is performing for the Macy’s Parade…(Raven doesn’t get me that excited haha)

I have so much to be thankful for. I have a house, a family, friends, food, more clothes then I need and opportunities every day that many kids will never have. While a lot of stuff is messed up and wrong…(like for instance this afternoon I deleted my e-mail box with important e-mail addresses for Hawk Nelson, Building429, etc. and special e-mails from friends…I cried. I lost it all but I will recover lol)

Anyway I am grateful for all the friends that have stepped up to the plate recently, y’all know who you are…reaching out to give me a kind word, to listen, to give me a reassuring hug/pat on the shoulder. Bless y’all because you guys are priceless diamonds in my eyes.

Right now it’s a commercial break, Ash and I are watching “Christmas with Fantasia, Kelly, and Ruben” I only like Kelly haha I love her new single “While You Were Gone” it’s awesome how she can actually sing like crazy live. I miss my music, I haven’t had time lately.

As to Peter’s question about cutters:

Well from reading various articles and listening to Dawson McAllister I’ve found out why they do what they do. They feel that physical pain will take away the emotional. It’s a bitter-sweet distraction. It also can bring attention and sympathy from people if/when they find out. But mostly it’s a step BEFORE suicide; lots of teens are too chicken to commit suicide so they fall back on cutting. Many teens have said it’s just a momentary relief from the “outside world” they feel so much anger/hurt that they’re not using their head…they just do it and that’s that. Pretty simple…pretty awful.

Anyway I hope you guys have a vundebar (wonderful) Christmas, thank you all for your sweet supportive comments, I treasure themJ

Ash my lovin sis: even though we constantly get on each other’s nerves I <3 you and that will always be true. I love the times we’ve laughed together, and the ones we’ve cried…thank you for being sweet and supportive of my wacky ideas;) You inspire me…your energy is amazing;) You challenge me daily with your willing to get even better…rock on.

Colleen: to my darlin friend who I’ve known for like seven years? I love how I can ALWAYS be myself around you and be as “Dorky” as I want to be…I love our dance times and the times when we laugh so hard we FALL over laughing;) I cannot wait till you get a xanga;) Thanks for all the wonderful memories!!!

Laura: I know you won’t see this but you are one of the sweetest girls in the world, I have never once gotten irritated at you because it is IMPOSSIBLE! I love all the hilarious times we’ve had, and the excursions we’ve gone on, you are a total gem, never ever forget that.

Katie: thank you for going on this “Writing journey” with me I couldn’t do Radiant without you, not only are you a fellow “staffer” but you’re a DAzzLING DiaMONd! God Bless you for all the times I’ve “e-cried on your shoulder” and vented on the phone, someday we’ll meet and have a rockin awesome time.

Natalie: remember the times when our dads would get together for the Packer games and we’d play dolls or watch TV on the black and white in my room? I love those times! Next time you get over here we definetly need to catch up, we’d probably talk the whole time! I love you!

Keegan: what a friend you are! I’ve been amazed with how STRONG you are, yes I mean it. I see strength in you, you’ll pull through I know it. Thank you for all the hugs and sweet words on Sun. ;) It was amazing having someone go through some of the exact same situations as me…I appreciate you even more now, know that you are gorgeous, absolutely beautiful inside and out. Alrighty I"m gonna be a copy-cat and do what Clark did on his xanga...

"Rules: write a statement intended for 10 different ppl..." (note: these are not at all in specific order, just the person that I've seen lately or made an impact on me recently etc.)

#1--Holy cow you amaze me...we're so alike it's not even funny, do you think we were separated from birth? Thank you for being such a wonderful listener, for your crazy "theories" on situations in my life, for having a shoulder for me to "vent on" I've never forgotten when you said "You can vent to me." thank you so so much for being...there and with such a snappy, fun, sweet spirit!

#2--I <3 you so stinkin much it isn't funny. Thank you for (daily) putting up with my crazy antics and (lame) practical jokes. You make me laugh with all the crazy stuff you do that bugs me like heck but inside I'm cracking up. Esp. when you "sing" at the table...(you know what I mean;) )

#3--Holy cow do you ever check your e-mail? You've always been a fabulous friend, even though we don't see each other as much as I'd like too...you're always up to interesting stuff (no I don't get tired of your stories) and you make me laugh all the time You're such a sweet girl! God Bless!

#4--I <3 you. You are special, unique, gorgeous, talented, sweet, etc. I can't believe we used to be....on bad terms. I will never stop being your friend and will always be here for you whenever wherever all the time. Don't forget it.

#5--I remember the Jr. High times when we'd talk about which boys were annoying at camp, which we'd NEVER go out with, etc. I remember bein dorks but having fun. I remember our e-mails that were sometimes 5 times a day! And I remember last Sun. how you sweetly listened to me talk. You are a blessing and you encourage me in so many ways.

#6--for two girls that met on the internet we have a swell friendship wouldn't you say? You are inspiring and we are very like-minded. You have such a genuine feel about you, you're a joy to interact with, don't change ok? <3 ya

#7--You encourage me in Christ, I can't believe how each time I read something you've written I nodd my head in agreement. God IS good...he DOES love us...thank you for constantly reminding me when I needed it most! God Bless you my friend!

#8--When someone is 4 yrs. older then you, they have good advice to give you, some of the advice you've given is so obvious but when you said those things I really tried to apply them, and still am. Thanks for listening to my quick "vents" and I won't forget when you tried to call because you cared. Wise words make a difference. Thank's for bein such a "Rad" brother in Christ. God Bless.

#9--You are so awesome for putting up with me, letting me hang around and be a dork You are such a kind, fun-loving girl it's always a blast to chat with you! Today was so EXHAUSTING! I was at co-op for SEVEN hours! Seven. I had my Bloody Mary project, was the helper for devotions with Stephen, and then drama for four hours I'm so tired! (no face for tiredness) and I got home, crashed, wrote in my journal, listened to music, and I got this weird urge to dance as in hard-core jazz/hip-hop so I got out the old school SClub7 CD (haha Louisa) and I just...let go of things for half an hour and just went all out...it felt awesome. Feel stressed? Dance, it helps honest...dance is my therepy....that and a good manicure (ha not that shallow)

So let's see I have dance tomorrow lol we're doing a routine for that old school Men In Black song, it's so hilarious/cool though. Fri. Matt & Josh & Mrs. R are coming...believe it or not I haven't seen them ever since mid-July (camp...well I saw Mr. & Mrs. R at the mall but that's another story)

Something totally random for the fun of it: A month ago or so when we were coming back from someplace this dog was running in the middle of the street (sooo cute but so dangerous!) and we came to a stoplight so I got out of the car, walked down the street and tried to catch this dog...he ran away So yeah I didn't quite have a PETA-friendly animal rescue there. That was too random.

Ok you guys are sooo lazy…you see the little word “comment” at the bottom…click it…type. It’s easy

So Sunday night I had way too much fun at YG…it was great to surprise my friends because none of them knew I was coming except Ash. So I got to see Keegan, Christen, Ashley, Nicole, Amber, and just had a great time bein…wackos! When I sat down to chat with Keegan she said “So how’ve you been?” And I was like “Umm we haven’t talked for a while so where do I start?” Ok we hadn’t talked in so long I started at THE BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER! How sad is THAT? Haha it was so hard trying to sum it up quickly as not to bore people J (haha little humor there). Then afterwards Nicole, Andrew, Keegan and I were all chatting and a few people were attempting to be err random J haha…man it’s so cool how they play awesome music there, they were playing Toby Mac’s Welcome to Diverse City. I was practically salivating since I really want that CD! So anyway I had a good time bein with good friends. And there’s another lip-sync contest in Dec. so we’ll see what Christmas-themed-song I’ll end up doin with people…( Keegan I smell another “best choreography” comin!) *What’s a partridge, what’s a pear tree? Well I don’t know so please don’t ask me* -ReliantK 12 Days of X-Mas.

Then let’s see yesterday was sorta good and mostly bad haha. I DID win Everlife’s new CD J Yes! And Louisa called and we talked for a solid half-hour+ man Louisa you should be a physiologist, I had such a good time talking to you and you really encouraged meJ thanks!

I have my HUGE Shakespeare project tomorrow…after that it’ll be done! Yay! *Celebration*

Please pray for me because everything is so…maybe overwhelming I guess…tomorrow I have no time for normal school cause I have drama practice for hours and it’s so c-r-a-z-y. Like really crazy.

I’m so crushed cause today I turn on the TV and Avril is on singin “My Happy Ending” I was like “Oh my gosh!!” but she sounded…*how do I say this nicely* really bad…like flat and off key and yeah she just sounded not good and I was like “noooooo!” can nobody sing live well anymore? Geez…but then she sang Nobody’s Home well so I sorta forgave her…partly I was so excited I threw my math book in the air ha!

Oh man today was so…fun. Whoa did that word actually pass my lips? Well, the library almost went fast today and it also gave me quiet time to just…think about my life as stupid as that sounds. But when I got home I remembered Children’s Church prep for tomorrow, my Bloody Mary paper due by Wed. and Ash can’t come over on Sun. cause my mom says I’m to “overloaded” *sigh* BUT we went to see The Incredibles which I just got back from…that movie gets a ten out of ten. I LOVE IT! It’s hilarious, clean, sweet, awesome it made me laugh so hard I couldn’t remember when I last really laughed like that!

Yesterday was yucky cause I was “sick” with some sort of weird one-day-bug and was “bed-ridden” sorta but again I DID get to work on my pillows hahaha. Ash cheered me up with some “scary frightening dancing” as someone once put it lol and we watched Meet Me In St. Louis and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen *cough cough* I liked it just a teensy bit better then the first time I *cough* saw it :D believe it or not ok this sounds so ridiculous but the Con. Movie and the Inc. actually sort of…made me realize stuff…like I’ve almost been a bit afraid to just be myself and say “Hey this is me if you don’t like it then that stinks but I”ll live.” And those movies actually really made me realize that I need to NOT care what others think (not that you shouldn’t to some degree) but anyway that was cool. Plus it’s been weird having ASH HAPPY like really happy reeeaaalllyy happy like “wow I’ve changed” happy. Cool, Ash what’s your secret? Lol

Anywho…it’s good hearing from you guys, it’s been so nuts lately that weird things have become my sanity…pillow-makin…xanga…even-whoa! Ash…? Scary thought.

I don’t really have more deep thoughts right now, I DO want to post a song I wrote before dance on Thurs. though sometime really soon if I get the chance so stay posted…btw do any of my GIRL pals play drums and does another gal play keyboard or piano? That lives sort of near me *cough cough* yeah I’m just trying to organize something so we’ll see how that turns out;)

No more really deep thoughts right now…oh, I’ve taken down like ten of my “celebrity” posters in my room because I had this weird “why-the-heck-am-I-looking-up-to-this-person” thing and like “my friends deserve pics there…not Kelly Clarkson…etc. So now it’s just Clay…Clay…Orly…Josh…and Avril. Sorta lonely but I can somewhat look up to those people (to a certain degree) here’s how I rate them Clay: the Christian with the faith I want to have. Orly—acting skills I’d like to have (NOT FOR HIS FREAKIN LOOKS! Geez lol) Josh: his voice…his hair haha jk jk. And Avril—attitude, “realness…deepness” don’t ask I’m weird but you know…I like that the whole “weird” thing J Now who’s random? And lastly a growing scrap book of misc. stuff esp. this summer, very cool stuff with friends and all that, it’s growing along nicely!

So basically keep praying for me, I’m constantly battling stuff daily that’s like this huge brick trying to weigh me down but I’m trying to fight it but a lot of the time it’s like I’m losing…I used to deal by writing fiction almost every afternoon but since my computer blew I lost everything and I can’t write on this computer cause then the whole fam would be reading my stuff AHHHH!!!

Thanks guys. Feel free to call I’m using the phone so much lately it’s scaryJ But I love the company in tough times…talking, chattin, bein random…getting some of my frustrations out while trying to re-connect with people I haven’t heard from in forever!

YAH-HOO! Uh-oh...Yah-HOO! Uh-oh...YAH-HOO! Uh-oh...

Four hours till party! Which is awesome but scary cause holy cow there's still so much to do! It was simple enough the last years I had it but there's twenty this year...ouch my mom's ready to ground me...again haha today I am officially UNGROUNDED! Woo-HOO! Yeah!

Dance last night was really fun, Kristie had us start a routine just for fun to "Monster Mash" y'know that old song? I thought it was pointless/stupid/just dumb but it actually turned out to be REALLY funny, Colleen and I were the scientists..."Coll...we're smart!" haha and it was very fun because we got to act too, Kristie said we're total divas at acting

Before dance, I helped out at the clothing drive at church, (never saw so many nasty clothes in my life lol) Mrs. Slothower found this AMAZING light blue formal gown for me! It has a scarf that you wear on your arms, it's like a filmy gorgeous material, in perfect condition it's soooo cute!

Then I got my first pair of jazz shoes just in time for dance...total fun, they're so much more comfortable then pointe shoes!

Also, yesterday was Foofkins' birthday! He's one year old! Awww cute little thing

So tonight I will give a full report about it hopefully tomorrow, I'm working on this annoying Voice of Democracy paper thing that has to be done by Thursday! Ouch! I'm not expecting to win anything cause I"m doing it in a hurry AND I'm a freshman so fun stuff Wish me luck to get it done in time!

Ash's costume is going to be SICK! (sick as in good) she's gonna be what's-her-face from teen girl squad (home star runner) and I'm making her a sign on the front that says "I met a possum" and then Foofkins will be walking around with her all evening I think it was my bestest idea yet...besides MOI'S costume which I will show to y'all later.

School and other stuff really stinks lately, so many tests it's not even funny and of course the other problems... yeah so I'm just hangin in there...

Woo-hoo! Dance last night was maybe the best class yet!

Kristie finally brought in Grease so we started a wicked-awesme routine for "born to hand-jive" it's so fun! Everybody has this cool entrance, the two girls do a bunch of cartwheels, Skylar does a front-walkover, and Colleen and I run up and do a big jump, cross and do it again. Then we do the whole "hand jive" thing on the floor, standing up, and all this other fun stuff! I showed Ash at home with our copy and she goes "NUH-HUH!!!" gosh I love class...

What else has been happening...not too much actually, school is...well school, and tomorrow Ash and I are working at our church for their Fall Fun Fest thing so that'll be entertaining.

Random: I had this "outfit inspiration" and was like "Dad, can you teach me how to tie a tie?" he looked at me like "Wha?" So he was teaching me and everything (never quite got the hang of it) and I had "Breakaway" by Kelly clarkson on and he starts lip syncing and doing all these funny poses and Ash and my mom came in and we were laughing so hard because he could mimick the words almost as soon as they were being said

Someone help me out here, on the radio all the time I here this song that goes a bit like this "I'm tired of people following, I'm tired of living this way...why can't they let me be?" that kind of thing it's a really upbeat song and I'm 95% sure it's Lindsey Lohan but I can't be sure and I know this is so stupid, it's not that I like the song I just want to find out who sings it haha!

I had a bit of a "photoshoot" with Foofkins the other day so y'all can see the puppet who religiously scares Ash daily...so that'll be next entry hopefully...if Ash doesn't burn the camera.

Also, I'm having a harvest party at my house comin up for church/co-op-ish people...so I've been busily workin on that because my parents say "it's all up to you to do the work if you want this party 'cause we're to busy..." it's the fourth year in a row, it used to just be church people but I talked my mom into more so I was thinking about costume ideas and I like the one I have but wanted to see if you guys had any suggestions...
